Alterations average $300-$500 and are based on what is needed. There are always 2 fittings, occasionally 3, plus a final pick up when finished. Pressing is available as part of the alterations or as a separate service, usually $40-$80. For the fitting you will need your shoes and any undergarments you will be wearing. Bra pads are available to sew in. At the first fitting an itemized receipt is provided. Occasionally the total may vary depending on work done or additional changes made at the second fitting. At the second fitting the hem is approved and the bustle is checked. It helps to bring someone who can learn how to set the bustle for the wedding day. All payments are cash, check or Venmo. No credit cards. A deposit is due at the first fitting with the balance due at the second fitting.
